For this project, I really wanted to improve my abilities at creating completely organic environments. Specifically, I wanted to focus on foliage, organic materials, landscape editing, detail/foliage brushes, and distant landscapes/vistas. I also implemented several new software into my production pipeline.
All models and effects, besides the character model, were created by myself using Maya, ZBrush, SpeedTree and Unreal Engine 4. Most textures were also created by myself using Substance Painter, Photoshop and Crazybump. Any texture that came from an outside source I tried to significantly alter before using.
The great character model comes from UE4 user Mordragos, and can be found on the Unreal Marketplace under 'Stylized Paladin Character'.
